The second seminar of the Regional Academy for Democracy (RAD), the newest program of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence and its regional partners was held in Becici, Montenegro from 20-23 April.

The first seminar of the European Integration and Local Development Project for decision makers from local communities in Eastern Serbia

The first seminar "Preconditions of EU Integration" was held from 19 to 21 April 2013 in Kladovo. Representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Self-government, who talked about current policies and plans of the Ministry, opened the seminar. The participants were particularly interested in topics like political parties and strengthening institutions, ways of financing local self-government, Serbia’s EU accession process, sustainable use of energy and energy efficiency etc.

The Third Working Seminar of Women’s Parliamentary Network

The third working seminar "Women’s Parliamentary Network: Towards Successful Cooperation with Independent Bodies, CSOs and Media" was held from 15-17. March in Subotica, as part of the wider BFPE’s program "Women for Democracy and Equality". The seminar is financially supported by the Delegation of the European Union, the Finnish Embassy in Serbia and the OSCE Mission to Serbia.

The second seminar of 10th generation of the Annual Seminar

The second seminar of the Annual Seminar project was held from 28^th February till 3^rdMarch 2013 in Zrenjanin. The focus was on socio-economic perspectives of Serbia - opportunities and challenges. The first part of the seminar addressed European integration and development, the transition in Serbia, the global economic crisis - experiences, prospects and controversies, an overview of the business sector in Serbia and industrialization of Serbia.
