Beginning of the second phase of the “Public Dialogue on Sustainable Use of Energy in the South East Europe” regional project

The second phase of the Public Dialogue on Sustainable Use of Energy in the South East Europe project started with the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) and its Energy Efficiency Open Regional Fund for South East Europe (ORF-EE) and seven Western Balkan schools of political studies of the Council of Europe, which marked the continuation of GIZ support to this project. The Memorandum was signed in Podgorica on 13 December 2012.

Green Parliamentary Group

The Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence in partnership with the Center for Modern Skills has started a new project for the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia's MPs, with the aim of creating an informal Green Parliamentary Group.

The tenth cycle of the Annual Seminar program

The first seminar of the Annual Seminar program titled Serbia in the Process of Transition was held from 6 to 9 December 2012 in Kraljevo. As in the previous generations, participants of the 10^th generation are representatives of political parties, media, business and NGO sector. The new generation is characterized by interactivity and argumentative dialogue with lecturers and among each other, and interest in the topics covered by the agenda.

The roundtable «EU integration of Western Balkan countries: security and political challenges» was held on December 11 2012, in Novi Sad. It was organised by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence and Slovak Atlantic Commission, with a support of the Slovak Aid.
