Konf-diplRegional conference “Repatriation of Highly Skilled Experts in the Western Balkans – Brain Gain or Brain Re-drain?” was organized by the Group 484 and the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence as part of the project “Advocating for “Brain Gain” policies aiming at Reintegration of Highly Skilled Returnees” with financial support from the Balkan Trust for Democracy. Ar 2In line with its programmatic goal to contribute to the Serbian European integration process, the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence has initiated the project on Building Consensus for Communicating the EU in Serbia, implemented with the support of the British Embassy in Belgrade and in close coordination with the European Integration Office of the Government of Serbia. The participants are Members of Parliament, government officials, representatives of independent regulatory bodies and media editors.

The first seminar of the Annual Seminar Project was held from 8 to 11 December 2011 in Niš. The ninth generation, like their colleagues before them included political parties representatives, media, business sector as well as representatives of the non-governmental organizations and academic community. Interactivity and argumentative dialogue with the lecturers and among each other, and interest in the topics covered in the Agenda were the main characteristics of the new generation.
