The Moscow School of Political Studies is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization, established in December 1992 with the support of the Council of Europe. Its mission is to contribute to the development of an open democratic society based on respect for the rule of law, strict observance of human rights and encouragement of civic initiatives.
Through its seminars, publications, and other activities, the school aims to provide a younger generation of Russian political and business leaders with new approaches to political processes in the public sphere. It places a heavy emphasis on developing a better understanding of Russia’s relations with Europe, the United States and western institutions.
